Jorge Cuenca has successfully had an operation on his left foot and will be twelve weeks off the pitch.

The Spanish U-21 international had a successful operation on a fracture of the third metatarsal of the left foot this Friday.

The central defender, who travelled with Spain U21, had to return for tests after an injury. At first it was not considered serious, but eventually he had to go through the operating room.

It is an important blow for Garcia Pimienta because Jorge Cuenca has played the most minutes this season. In fact, he had participated in 10 matches, eight of them as a starting defender.

With the fall of Jorge Cuenca, the coach of Barca B will be able to give minutes to Chumi or Mingueza, who will play a place next to Ronaldo Araujo.
