There's been no rush from FC Barcelona when it comes to finalising the futures of Oriol Busquets.
The Barça B midfielder, who most see as the natural substitute to the man who shares the same last name as him, has received plenty of offers this summer. Udinese wanted to buy Oriol but the player, alongside the club, decided to turn down that proposal. The majority of interest came from the Eredivisie with Utrecht and FC Twente pushing the hardest to secure a deal. In the end, the player opted for Twente's offer.
The season-long loan deal is practically complete with only minor details needing to be signed off. Busquets will join the newly-promoted side and find three former Barça players in Javier Espinosa, Aitor Cantalapiedra and Julio Pleguezuelo, alongside another Spaniard José Matos. Twente are unbeaten after three matches having won one and drawn their other two matches.
