Barcelona board approve 481 million euro losses

  /  autty

Barcelona's board of directors have announced losses of 481 million euros for the 2020/21 financial year, while setting a budget of 765 million euros for the 2021/22 campaign.

The next Members' Assembly will be on 16-17 October, when the team will face Valencia. The future of head coach Ronald Koeman was not however up for discussion in Tuesday's board meeting.

The main concern of the meeting was the process Due Diligence that is ongoing since Joan Laporta assumed the presidency. The results of that process will be announced on October 6 by general manager Ferran Reventer.

There will also be a proposal to modify the statutes which, among other things, limits a board's mandate to five years. Such a proposal would need the approval of members.
