Good reports from the U17 World Cup mean that Barcelona are after two young players with enormous potential: Jun Nishikawa and Pape Sarr.
Barcelona are paying great attention to the U17 World Cup that is taking place in Brazil. Not only are they following Spain, but they've also discovered two hidden gems, namely Jun Nishikawa from Japan and Pape Sarr from Senegal.
Barcelona have been interested in the Japanese player for some time. When they signed Hiroki Abe, it was also known that they were closely following the young Cerezo Osaka player.
His journey in U17 World Cup has been spectacular. He has got 2 assists and scored 2 goals for his country in the 3 group stage matches.
Less is known about Pape Sarr. An unknown player in the lower age groups of Senegal's Generation Foot, he is making his mark at the World Cup with three goals and two assists. He is an all-round player and Mundo Deportivo confirm that Barca are after him.
Needless to say that Barca aren't the only team interested in these 2 players, however, Barca's interest is important for when they turn 18.
