Barcelona have snapped up highly-rated Brazilian teenager Gustavo Maia for a fee of £4.1million from Sao Paulo, according to reports.
The Spanish giants have been tracking the 19-year-old for quite some time now after his performances in the Sao Youth Football Cup in January caught the eye of Barcelona.
And according to Globoesporte, Barcelona have acquired the winger's signature - paying an additional £3.2m to complete the transfer after initially agreeing a £900,000 deposit for the teenager, who has yet to play a senior match for Sao Paulo.
Barcelona will reportedly secure a 70 per cent ownership of Maia, while Sao Paulo will retain a 30 per cent stake in the young forward.
Maia - who had also attracted some interest from Liverpool and Atletico Madrid - possesses real pace and has a strong finishing ability, while also having an eye for a pass.
Barcelona were quick to snap up Maia's services before other clubs came calling, with the teenager not yet having played a professional game in his home nation before securing a switch to Europe.
The 19-year-old forward has impressed for Sao Paulo's youth sides, as well as for Brazil's Under 16s and 17s previously.
Maia joined Sao Paulo as a 14-year-old, and he scored 30 goals in 36 appearances throughout 2018 before adding another 21 to his tally the following year.
