Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 6-1 in the final of LaLiga Promises in New York to be crowned champions once again.
This is now their fourth win in the last five international editions of this tournament, and they were able to exact revenge on Real Madrid, against whom they were defeated in the last LaLiga Promises tournament in Villareal.
The Blaugrana had a near-perfect tournament, only drawing once against Valencia in the group stages.
The final saw Landry Cephas and Xavi Castellanos get the Catalan side off to a quick start only for Aimar Garcia Diez to pull one back to inject some hope for Los Blancos.
However, in the second period, Marc Serra's team moved up the gears and scored a further four goals, first through Marc Bernal, then a double from Shane Patrick Kluivert before Nouhoun Sylla finished the rout.
