Lionel Messi may remain the top freekick taker in LaLiga Santander, but he has Enis Bardhi just over his shoulder, with the Levante player netting yet another freekick for the east coast club on Saturday afternoon in a 1-0 victory.
Of the 10 goals the 23-year-old has netted for Levante since joining in 2017, six of them have been direct freekicks.
His latest came away at Getafe, who had had the best chance of the first half, only for Oier Olazabal to save spectacularly when Nemanja Maksimovic was through one-on-one in the 31st minute.
That kept the scoreline goalless at the break, before Bardhi struck the match-winning freekick 15 minutes into the second period.
Levante were able to hold on for the win, ultimately conquering 10 men after Francisco Portillo was sent off in stoppage time, presumably for saying something to the referee.
