Josep Maria Bartomeu stole the spotlight during Martin Braithwaite's presentation as a new Barcelona player.

The Catalan club's president was asked eight questions compared to only two that were directed at the former Leganes striker.

Bartomeu made clear that Barcelona followed the regulations and deposited Braithwaite's buyout clause at LaLiga's headquarters.

Before ending his speech, he made clear that there is an "open investigation" on the controversial story about the club's connection with the advertising company I3 Ventures.

He reassured the press that once the issue is resolved, he would inform the public.

Although he tried to pass the baton to Braithwaite by making clear that he won't answer to any questions, journalists insisted.

Bartomeu refused to give any further answers and reiterated that he will share any information he has in the future.

It was only then that attention turned to Braithwaite, who expressed his joy for being able to join a team of Barcelona's calibre.
