Goalkeeper Altay Bayindir appeared to say goodbye to the Fenerbahce crowd on Thursday night ahead of his potential move to Manchester United.
United are closing in on a £4.25million deal for Bayindir, pending the results of medical tests.
Erik ten Hag's side are willing to pay the shot-stopper's release clause if they are provided with guarantees over his fitness.
On Thursday Bayindir was an unused substitute as Fenerbahce beat Twente 5-1 in the Europa Conference League.
The 25-year-old was seen waving to the crowd and also placed his hand on the Fenerbahce badge, signifying his love for the club.
Bayindir joined Fenerbahce from Ankaragucu in 2019 and has gone on to make 145 appearances for the club.
He won the Turkish Cup last season and has been capped by Turkey at senior level on five occasions.
United are looking to bring in Bayindir to provide competition for summer arrival Andre Onana.
Dean Henderson could leave United if a deal for Bayindir is finalised.
