Tensions flared late in the Champions League clash between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid in Germany, with Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior at the centre of the drama

Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior appeared to clash at the end of Real Madrid's Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich, a result that saw Alvaro Arbeloa's side knocked out of the competition at the quarter-final stage. The match at the Allianz Arena was intense, with Eduardo Camavinga sent off when the tie was level at 4-4 on aggregate.
The France international was dismissed in the 86th minute after receiving a second yellow card for delaying a free‑kick and Bayern then struck twice to avoid extra‑time. Cameras captured a fiery exchange between Bellingham and Vinicius, with the Brazilian seemingly telling the England international to 'shut his mouth.'
The incident came after Vinicius picked up the ball and drove towards goal, while Bellingham sprinted into the box demanding a pass. A heavy touch allowed Dayot Upamecano to close him down, preventing the pass and leaving Bellingham visibly frustrated.
Vinicius was caught on camera responding to Bellingham angrily: "'What do you want? What do you want? Shut your mouth." He then shouted in Portuguese: "Go f*** yourself."
At full‑time, several Madrid players made their feelings clear towards Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic, who was surrounded and berated. Antonio Rudiger and Vinicius were among the most vocal, leading the protests and lambasting the official, while Arda Guler was sent off for dissent.
Even Dani Carvajal, named as an unused substitute, was reportedly caught shouting at Vincic: "It's your f*****g fault." Bellingham then spoke out in the mixed zone, describing the red card as 'a joke.'

Madrid boss Arbeloa also criticised the referee, accusing him of 'ruining the game.'
"Obviously, you can't send off a player for something like that," he told the press. "The referee didn't even know he had a card and he ruined a very exciting, very evenly matched tie, a real battle, and that's how the game ended.
"I think with the red card, everything was over. It is really unbelievable that you send off a player for this action, it's not possible in a match like that to be sent off for this.
"We feel really, really upset, angry and disappointed and I think all of this is a little bit unfair."
