Cagliari have announced that winger Paolo Faragò is expected to be out of action for six months after surgery on his hip.
The 26-year-old went under the knife today at the Villa Stuart Clinic in Rome.
He had keyhole surgery after suffering from Femoroacetabular Impingement, a condition affecting the hip joint.
The prognosis is approximately six months.
Faragò made 29 competitive appearances for Cagliari this season, contributing one goal and three assists.
