Barcelona will face Paris Saint-Germain away in the third round of the Champions League group stage. Barcelona's record against PSG in European competition is concerning, having lost to the French club in their last two Champions League encounters.
Most recently, in the second leg of the 2023/24 Champions League quarterfinals, Barcelona suffered a 1-4 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain at home. Although the Blaugrana had won the first leg 3-2, they were eliminated with an aggregate score of 4-6, failing to reach the Champions League semifinals that season.
In the 2024/25 season's group stage, despite Ferran Torres giving Barcelona an early lead, Gonçalo Ramos scored a late winner in the 90th minute, securing a 1-2 home defeat for Barcelona against Paris Saint-Germain.
