Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro has insisted that the club's hunger and desire to win has not gone, while making it clear that they are working hard to continue their success.
On Wednesday night, Los Blancos were beaten 1-0 by Leganes at Butarque but still qualified for the quarter-final stage of the Copa del Rey thanks a 3-0 first leg victory.
"We lost but we have qualified and that's what we wanted," he told beIN LaLiga afterwards.
"In the first half, we lacked depth but in the second, we were better.
"We controlled the game well.
"It was a good defeat because we still qualified and we know that there is no such thing as an easy game.
"Are we tired of winning?
"It is funny for me to hear you say that because we always play to win.
"We have to be honest; we're working hard, we're in the Champions League, a little further back in LaLiga, and now in the quarter-final of the Copa."
However, the Brazilian did acknowledge that things could and should be better and that Madrid are not at their best at present.
"We know it is a bad moment [for the club]," he added.
"Everyone knows that we have to improve because we're working to win titles.
"With work, we'll always get something so we will continue working hard and remain silent; in the end, we will see what happens."
