Ajax's players took advantage of April Fools' Day by making Barcelona-bound Frenkie de Jong the victim of their jokes.
Daley Blind and Joel Veltman used the day as an excuse to wrap De Jong's car with plastic.
"Who did this?" asked the club's official account on twitter, accompanied by a picture of the car.
Mikky Kiemeney, De Jong's partner, also joked about the player just hours later.
"If he doesn't bring you flowers, take him to the flowers," she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the pair in scenic surroundings.
