El Chiringuito host: If Madrid feel threatened, they have to leave the pitch

Josep Pedrerol believes that Real Madrid's players should leave the pitch in Wednesday's Clasico at the Camp Nou if they feel as though their safety is under threat.

All eyes are on the Camp Nou and although there will be a heavy security presence, there's no guaranteeing that the game will pass without incident.

"If they feel threatened, they have to leave the pitch," the host of 'El Chiringuito' told Radio MARCA.

"Any Real Madrid player would be supported by Real Madrid, even if they awarded the game to Barcelona.

"Dignity comes before the result."

Tsunami Democratic will be out in force around the Camp Nou from four hours before kick-off, and Pedrerol believes they've already succeeded in their aims.

"Their victory is that people are going to the stadium worried," he explained.

"If they believe that making people's lives more difficult is a success, then they've already succeeded."

Turning to football matters, Pedrerol praised Zinedine Zidane for his work with Los Blancos.

"I think Zidane has more credit in the bank than [Ernesto] Valverde for what they've done in the Champions League," he said.

"The Frenchman gives the sense that you have to enjoy the moment."
