According to Di Marzio's report, England will face Panama in the final group stage match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and Tuchel is expected to make three changes to the starting lineup.

England will complete their group stage campaign in the 2026 FIFA World Cup by facing Panama in the final round of Group L. The Three Lions accumulated 4 points from their first two matches, defeating Croatia 4-2 and drawing 0-0 with Ghana. A positive result will allow Tuchel's England to top the group and advance to the Round of 16 with confidence.

Panama, already eliminated from the tournament, will seek to make a respectable exit in their final group match. The Central American side lost both their opening matches 1-0, but they have demonstrated solid defensive organization and kept matches competitive until late in the game.

Tuchel is expected to continue with his 4-2-3-1 formation but will be without Reece James, who is sidelined with a hamstring injury. Pickford will start in goal, with a defense of O'Reilly, Ngoyo, Guehi, and Spence. In midfield, Rice is expected to be rested, with Mainoo partnering Elliott Anderson. The attacking midfield will feature Madueke, Bellingham, and Rashford—Rashford favored over Gordon—with Kane leading the line.

Panama is expected to line up in their customary 5-4-1 formation under Christiansen. Mosquera will be in goal, with a back five of Michael Murillo, Giovany Ramos, Jose Córdoba, Cesar Blackman, and Andrade. In midfield, Christian Martinez, Carlos Harvey, Bárcenas, and Jose Rodriguez will support lone striker Fajardo. Panama will look to finish their World Cup campaign with a spirited performance against one of the tournament favorites.

Panama expected starting lineup, 5-4-1: Mosquera; Michael Murillo, Jose Córdoba, Giovany Ramos, Andrade, Cesar Blackman; Christian Martinez, Bárcenas, Carlos Harvey, Jose Rodriguez; Fajardo. Head Coach: Christiansen

England expected starting lineup, 4-2-3-1: Pickford; Spence, Guehi, Ngoyo, O'Reilly; Mainoo, Anderson; Madueke, Bellingham, Rashford; Kane. Head Coach: Tuchel
