According to multiple media outlets including TuttoMercatoWeb and the Daily Mail, Georgina Rodríguez, Ronaldo's wife, criticized Portugal manager Jorge Jesus in a since-deleted social media post after Ronaldo left the Portugal training camp.
Georgina Rodríguez shared a quote attributed to Sir Alex Ferguson on social media.
In the quote, Ferguson appeared to criticize Portugal's national team coach for calling up Ronaldo but not giving him sufficient playing time.
However, this content was later revealed to be unverified, as no reliable sources have confirmed that Ferguson actually made these statements.
Alongside posting this content, Georgina directed harsh words at Jorge Jesus.
Georgina wrote: "I don't know how this person can have the name Jesus." She then quickly deleted the post from her social media account.
As noted, the alleged Ferguson quotes remain unconfirmed by any verifiable source.
