Getafe president Ángel Torres has confirmed he is pushing the team to make a major signing to avoid relegation.

When asked about reports of Getafe's interest in Sancho, President Torres told Cadena Cope radio: "It's completely true, I've been working on this for four months.
"He is a free agent now. We have made him a final offer."
"He is 26 years old and very talented, so this will be a bit trickier," Torres added about Sancho.
"He has played for Manchester United and Aston Villa before, so he's not without options. I know he has offers from Qatar and other places.
"We need to be patient, not to pressure him, and let him make his own decision."
