Villarreal have announced the signing of Peter Gulacsi, who has left RB Leipzig after 11 years at the club.
Gulacsi has signed a two-year deal with Villarreal following a reported €2m deal with Leipzig.
The 36-year-old joined Leipzig in 2015 from RB Salzburg and went on to play 362 matches for the German club.
He helped Leipzig achieve promotion to the Bundesliga in his debut season before eventually making 269 appearances in the German top-flight.
Since the start of the 2016-17 season, Gulacsi has kept more clean sheets than any other goalkeeper in the Bundesliga (94), while he also made the fourth-most saves (664).
"After eleven years, this farewell is really not easy for me," said Gulacsi in an emotional farewell video posted on social media.
"RB Leipzig was never just a club for me. Leipzig has become our second home, and the people here will always have a special place in my heart and ours."

Gulacsi is now set to battle Luiz Junior for the number one role at Villarreal, who finished third in LaLiga last season.
Inigo Perez's side begin their 2026-27 league campaign with three consecutive away games against Racing Santander, Atletico Madrid and Alaves, before their first home match comes on September 5 against Deportivo La Coruna.
