Haaland says just 11 WORDS in post-match interview after downing rivals Schalke

Erling Haaland showed he is a man of very few words in his awkward post-match interview following Borussia Dortmund's 4-0 victory over Schalke.

The 19-year-old, who opened the scoring in the Revierderby, said just 11 words to the beIN SPORTS reporter before walking away.

The interview lasted a total of 26 seconds as the starlet made it clear he wasn't in the mood for talking by answering all questions with short, sharp replies accompanied by an unimpressed raise of the eyebrow.

The interview began by asking why the Dortmund players decided to clap the 'Yellow Wall' and perform their traditional celebration, despite Signal Iduna Park being empty.

Haaland replied: 'Why not?' before accompanying his blunt reply with a raise of the eyebrow.

Following a moment of awkward silence, the interviewer asked if the starlet was looking to send a message to the Bundesliga fans.

Haaland confirmed he was, before begrudging saying: The message was to my fans, to Dortmund's fans,' as the reporter probed further.

The Norwegian snubbed the final question - They are everything for you and for Borussia Dortmund? - with a simply 'It is' before darting off to avoid another question.

Despite the awkward post-match encounter, Haaland's performance on the pitch was nothing short of gripping. He wowed fans once again by finding the back of the net despite a lack of training and match play in recent months
