Hadji Advises Brahim to Leave Real Madrid for Saudi League to Secure National Team Spot

Moroccan national team legend Mustapha Hadji has advised Atlas Lions star Brahim Díaz, currently playing for Real Madrid, to leave the club and join the Saudi Pro League to secure his place in the national team.

Brahim has lacked playing time at Real Madrid since the start of this season under coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Since the beginning of the season, Brahim has made only 6 appearances across all competitions, accumulating just 210 minutes, making him one of the Real Madrid players with the least playing time.

Despite performing well in limited minutes this season, including providing 2 assists in the Champions League, the fierce competition in Real Madrid's attack makes it difficult for the Moroccan international to secure a regular starting spot.

Media reports suggest that the Saudi Football Federation is seriously considering signing Brahim in the January transfer window and is preparing a substantial offer.

Commenting on Brahim's situation at Real Madrid, Hadji told Kooora: "He plays for the biggest club in the world, but frankly, if he receives an offer from the Saudi league, I advise him to go."

The Moroccan star, who previously played in the English league, added: "I follow the Saudi Pro League regularly, and there are very high-level professional players competing there, with intense competition."

Hadji stressed that if Brahim continues to have limited playing time at Real Madrid, he risks being excluded from Moroccan national team coach Mohamed Wahbi's plans.

He said: "Brahim barely plays at Real Madrid, so it's difficult to call him up to the Moroccan national team. In that situation, he doesn't deserve to play in international matches."

The Moroccan legend concluded by saying: "I hope he joins a top club in Saudi Arabia or another league so he has the opportunity to play more than an hour in every match."
