The Barcelona and Spain defender has announced that he will play his last game at the Camp Nou this Saturday against Almería.
Gerard Piqué, who announced his retirement from professional football today, was born on February 2, 1987, making him 35 years old.
The Barcelona and Spain defender tweeted an emotive video explaining that this Saturday will be his last game at Camp Nou, Barcelona’s home stadium.

Gerard Piqué joined Barcelona when he was 10 years old, playing for the youth teams as a defensive midfielder, however he joined Manchester United as a youngster, before signing a professional contract with Barça.
He rejoined Barcelona in 2008, with the Catalan giants paying $5.5 million for him.
