Inter Milan captain Mauro Icardi scored the winner in the Milan derby against AC at the weekend and now is ready to face Barcelona. After game Icardi talked about the game and his visit to Camp Nou.
Luciano Spaletti's side have won seven games in a row and are high on morale after beating AC Milan. "We had a great September before the internationab reak and we had to win to stay on this path, so we could arrive at Barcelona with this mentality, which is very important for us," said Icardi.
"It's a pity Messi can't be there because it's nice to play against great footballers like him, who is one of the best in the world. He's a big miss and it means we can go head to head (with Leo gone) because we have the qualities needed to take them on."
Icardi also spoke about the transfer rumours linking him to clubs including Real Madrid. "There is a lot of talk but I'm happy at Inter, with my present and the future that I can have here. When offers come we will evaulate them but I'm very happy to stay."
