Inter have decided that they will take up their option to buy Stefano Sensi on a permanent basis at the end of this season according to a report in today's print edition of Tuttosport.
Sensi joined Inter this past Summer on a season long loan from Sassuolo with an option to buy which is understood to be around €20-25 million.
The Italian national team midfielder has really struggled to keep himself fit during this season but his performances, particularly in the early part of this season, have convinced Inter to look past his injuries to sign him up and keep him at the club.
The 24-year-old, who has been tipped by many to become a key cog in the national team midfield for years to come, has made 17 appearances across all competitions to date this term. In just over 1000 minutes on the field, the former Cesena player has scored three goals and contributed four assists.
