Former La Liga and Israel goalkeeper Dudu Aouate has abused Karim Benzema on social media, following the Frenchman’s comments about the Israeli attacks on the Palestinian people.
Benzema, who left Real Madrid this summer to join Al Ittihad in Saudi Arabia, tweeted out his support for the innocent Palestinian victims in the Gaza strip following air raids by the Israeli government.
This message of support did not sit too well with Dudu Aouate, the former Israeli goalkeeper, who responded with a strong message written in five languages. He called him a "son of a bitch" in Spanish, Arabic, English, French and Hebrew.
Aouate played in La Liga for Racing Santander, Deportivo La Coruna and Mallorca, where he hung up his gloves. The Israeli goalkeeper played for Hapoel Haifa and Maccabi Haifa and currently lives in Tel Aviv.
