According to Milannews.it citing SportMediaset on Italia Uno, Cardinale has finalized the new club structure, and Milan can finally begin planning for the new season and summer signings. Amorim's top priority is to convince key players like Maignan, Rabiot, and Modrić to stay.

Maignan is being pursued by Chelsea, and if he is to stay, he demands a serious sporting project from the club. French midfielder Rabiot has entered Allegri's sights for Napoli, but only if Anguissa leaves first. Croatian Modrić has not yet decided his future and will wait until after the World Cup to make a decision; meanwhile, there are still many voices in Spain claiming he might return to Real Madrid for a management role.
Regarding transfers, Amorim hopes to revamp Milan's attacking line, thus targeting two former Portuguese forwards: one is Sporting CP winger Pedro Gonçalves, who could be a replacement if Leão leaves. The other is Gonçalo Ramos, whom the new coach hopes will play a starring role, and Ramos is consequently interested in leaving Paris Saint-Germain.
