Jose Martinez, Barca's new home made central

  /  autty

Jose Martínez (Masquefa, March 4, 2002) has been one of the players of FC Barcelona who has participated in the U-17 World Cup that is being played in Brazil.

The Juvenile A center, one of the untouchable players for David Gordo, has been one of the most prominent despite the tough defeat against France in the quarterfinals. Jose has completed all the games except the last of the group stage against Cameroon, where he played as the left back for the entire second half.

The role of the left-handed center in Brazil has only confirmed the good performance of a player who has been in Barça for a lifetime. In fact, FC Barcelona already captured it before being Prebenjamín, where he joined from Masquefa. In his town he played forward and stood out for his scoring nose, but when he arrived at Can Barça he started as a left lane in Football-7. In La Masia it has been forged year by year and has become a player of much future.

He is a footballer of character within the field, but elegant and safe, with a markedly Barca style. In addition, it also adapts well to the left-handed side and that is why in the Catalan club they expect a lot from him and it is a firm commitment. Franc Artiga, as with Ilaix Moriba, is already waiting for him with open arms in Juvenile A. He knows both of them well because he had them in Cadet A.
