In three days, the 2026 Ballon d'Or winner will be announced. Three strong contenders have emerged: Lamine Yamal, Kane, and Mbappe. The latter has launched a massive media campaign, hoping to win football's most prestigious individual award for the first time. However, journalist Anton Meana believes the Real Madrid forward does not deserve it.
"Kane surpassed him in every aspect: he scored more goals, eliminated him in the Champions League, and defeated him at the World Cup. Furthermore, Kane also won a title in Germany. Mbappe's statements make people think he had a better season than he actually did," journalist Anton Meana said on the Cadena SER program.
