Jules Kounde celebrated Jordi Alba's goal like all Barca fans against Sevilla, but later it generated controversy.
The Blaugrana had gone an hour without being able to break down the Andalusian defence, but eventually managed it when Kessie fed Alba.
The goal and the win sent them eight points clear at the top of the table, something to be delighted about.
However Sevilla fans hit out at Kounde for joining in the celebration and he later apologised.
"I was always grateful to wear the red and white shirt and for the love I received in my time there," wrote Kounde on Twitter.
"For that reason I wanted to apologise for the goal celebration that, within a moment of euphoria, was exaggerate on my part. I wish you the best, always."
