Barcelona director of football points out that he never said that Riqui had to leave, but reiterates that sometimes a transfer is beneficial.
After officially confirmed the transfer of Carles Alena to Betis, Kluivert valued it positively and commented on the 'butterfly effect' that could happen with Riqui Puig as the protagonist.
"I think it can help him, but it depends on the coach". he said in El Transistor de Wave Cero.
"My words were not that Riqui has to leave, but that if there is no room, you have to look for him. Everyone wants to play in the first team, but you also have to look for the interests of oneself. I think it's not bad to go out to another team to grow up."
