L'Equipe: Man City inquires about Gusto; Tchouameni to stay at Real Madrid; Milan may sell Maignan

L'Équipe reports that many French internationals may leave this summer, and those selected for the World Cup squad also have time to consider their future at their clubs.

Koné

After two seasons at Roma, Koné (25, contract until 2029) is likely to leave. Internazionale are currently the closest to signing him, and Arsenal have also expressed interest, but neither side has made a final decision yet.

Thuram

Thuram (28, contract until 2028) performed well at the end of the season. With two years left on his contract, he needs to decide his future. His transfer fee is approximately 60 to 70 million euros.

Akliouche

Akliouche (24, contract until 2028) is allowed to leave but has not yet received a concrete offer.

Mateta

Mateta (28, contract until 2027) was very close to Milan in the winter window and is still linked with the Italian club. If Glasner potentially joins, it would further facilitate this deal.

Lacroix

Lacroix (26, contract until 2029) is willing to leave. Unlike Kounde or Tchouameni, Lacroix's departure from Crystal Palace this summer is a certainty. Lacroix's contract with Crystal Palace is until 2029, so the transfer fee will not be low. However, Lacroix will not make a decision on his destination until after the World Cup.

Gusto

Gusto (23, contract until 2030) will be a key focus, and Manchester City have recently inquired about him. Due to their absence from European competitions, the Blues also need to sell players.

Kounde

Kounde (27, contract until 2030 ) should not have much suspense regarding his situation. There have been many, sometimes contradictory, reports surrounding the Barcelona full-back in recent weeks, but he likes Catalonia and does not particularly want to leave.

Maignan

Maignan just renewed his contract until 2031 in January. Will he leave Milan this summer? The club, which is restructuring and has not qualified for the Champions League, may need cash and might even consider selling its captain.

Tchouameni

Despite being involved in internal strife at Real Madrid at the end of the season, Tchouameni (26) is unlikely to leave.

Lucas

Lucas (30, contract until 2028) performed very stably in 2026 and had ample playing time, so he decided to stay at Paris Saint-Germain.

Lucas-Digne

Digne (32, contract until 2028)'s team has secured Champions League qualification, and barring any unforeseen circumstances, he will remain at Aston Villa.

Robin-Risser

Risser (21, contract until 2030) wants to stay at Lens and participate in the Champions League. Unless an extremely attractive offer is received, his future remains at Lens.
