La Liga and the Spanish Federation could give the OK to Barcelona today for them to sign the replacement of the injured Ousmane Dembele, reports MD.
Last Thursday, Barcelona submitted the medical report detailing that the French striker will be six months off.
With the approval of the Medical Committee of the League, which is an external body to the league itself, the chairman Javier Tebas will inform Barca that it is authorized for them to sign a replacement of Ousmane Dembele.
It complies with the rules of a player being out injured for a minimum of five months.
From there, the technical secretariat of Azulgrana, with the approval of the technical and economic committee of the club, will execute the signing of the striker.
The club is not expected to announce it today, but the plan is going now. Consequently, the idea would be to make it official tomorrow or as soon as possible so that Setien can have the reinforcement before the clash on Saturday against Eibar at Camp Nou.
