LaLiga are working on the #BringUsTheGame campaign to play the match between Girona and Barcelona in the United States, in Miami , next January, at the Hard Rock Stadium.
They have put an advert in the Miami Herald, among the most prestigious newspapers in the United States.
While there has plenty of opposition to the game being played in the United States, including by FIFA, LaLiga boss Javier Tebas is determined to bring it about.
"Imagine watching Luis Suarez, Phillipe Coutinho, Stuani, Portu and others playing here at home," it read.
"A real league game, with points in play between the reigning champions FC Barcelona and Girona FC, on January 26th, 2019, in the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
"There is only one problem, some who are involved in the decision making process falsely claim that it would not be good for the sport to go to the United States.
"For that reason, us the fans, we have to to fight for this game and say that it is good for the fans and it is good for the play."
