New estimates have revealed that Liverpool are the top football club earners from YouTube with over $650,000 made every month.

The Reds continue to establish themselves as one of the biggest brands in world football, with fans scattered all across the globe.

Liverpool make over three times their nearest Premier League counterparts, Manchester City, who sit sixth in top 20 highest earning Football YouTube channels.

YouTube has more than 1.9 billion regular monthly users, and according to research by Brandwatch, this has seen the number of channels earning more than $100,000 a year from the platform increasing by 40% year-on-year.

Of course, football remains one of the most popular topics on the social media video site, with significant money made by the biggest names in the beautiful games.

Sky Sports Football's top the revenue charts with over £1m a month made from YouTube per month, despite having fewer subscribers than some of the channels below them.

The F2 Freestylers fall next in the list at $716,157, despite boasting over six times more subscribers than Sky Sports at 10.8m.

That is a combination of advertising and merchandise which explains why their revenue is far superior in comparison to Barcelona's, the next highest-earning football club after Liverpool, who have 8.15 million subscribers who generate $415,000 for the club.

The data was compiled by football tickets site livefootballtickets.com which ran the top 20 football YouTube channels from a YouTube ranking through Sellfy.com's YouTube Money Calculator .
