Lucas Vazquez isn't concerned by those who criticise him and he's happy to keep contributing at Real Madrid.
The winger scored in Los Blancos' 4-0 win over Real Zaragoza on Wednesday evening, earning praise from Zinedine Zidane afterwards.
"I isolate myself from it," Lucas said when asked how he reacts to the criticism he receives.
"I'm a Madrid player and I know what I stand for.
"What you can't do is doubt yourself."
Real Madrid are now 20 games without a defeat, and Lucas says the last loss against Real Mallorca in October changed everything.
"The game in Mallorca was a turning point," he noted.
"It's brought good performances and good results."
Atletico Madrid are next up in the derby on Sunday, and Lucas knows it won't be easy against Los Rojiblancos.
"Playing them is always difficult," he stated.
"They're not going to make things easy for us."
