Manchester City have signed 18-year-old winger Felix Correia from Sporting Lisbon, the Portuguese club have confirmed.
It is believed the Premier League champions will pay £3.2million up front for the wideman who has attracted interest from Europe's most powerful clubs this summer.
Sporting announced they had reached an agreement with City on Tuesday and it is thought a further £3.2million may be paid to the Primeira Liga club in bonuses should Correia excel in the Premier League.
Sporting Lisbon released a statement wishing Correia 'all the best personal and professional happiness.'
The teenager - who has not yet experienced first team foottball - is expected to sign a five-year deal with Pep Guardiola's side before being sent out on loan.
Correia shone for Portugal's Under-19s in the European Championships last month, reaching the final before suffering a 2-0 defeat to Spain.
The winger was ever-present for Portugal, providing a goal and assist in their opening 3-0 win over Italy.
He also produced a highly impressive performance in Portugal U19s' win over England U20s at the Toulon Tournament in June, scoring his team's third in a 3-2 victory.
