With the move for Jadon Sancho on the cusp of being announced, Manchester United ’s transfer business is in full swing.
The Red Devils saw an offer for the winger accepted by Borussia Dortmund over Euro 2020, and are understood to be ironing out the final details of that deal before moving on other targets.
At the top of their list is Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane, who is edging closer to a move to Old Trafford.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is also thought to be eyeing a new defensive midfielder, with talk of West Ham's Declan Rice not going away.
So with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hoping to mount a challenge for the Premier League title next season, departures may also be needed to boost the overall quality of their squad.
Mirror Football brings you Friday's round up of the latest Manchester United transfer news.
West Ham establish Rice plan
West Ham have established a plan that they hope will be able to see of the interest from United and Chelsea in star midfielder Declan Rice.
Rice has become a key player for the Hammers, making 32 appearances in the Premier League as they secured European qualification last season, while his performances with England at Euro 2020 will certainly have done no harm to his value.
Those displays also means that West Ham are at serious risk of losing a player who was their captain for much of the last campaign.
With three years left on his contract, the Hammers have been keen to tie him down to a long-term deal, but Rice has rejected two offers for a new deal so far.
According to The Sun, David Moyes is keen to get Felipe Anderson’s impending transfer move to Serie A side Lazio done as soon as possible.
That will free up £100,000-a-week in wages that West Ham can then plough into keeping their star man to avoid having to sell him to United or Chelsea.
Real Madrid 'accept' Varane move
Real Madrid have accepted that defender Raphael Varane is likely to leave the club this summer and they are now waiting for a formal offer from Manchester United.
Madrid are prepared to cash-in on the Frenchman this summer at a fee which will be dictated by his contractual situation rather than his natural ability, with only one year left to run on his current deal.
A report from Goal now outlines the latest update to the situation with the Spanish giants now resigning themselves to the player’s departure.
They are said to have made Varane one offer of a contract renewal prior to the European Championships taking place this summer.
The player delayed any response to that proposal as he wanted to concentrate on playing in Euro 2020 with France and that he needed time to think.
Les Bleus were eliminated at the Round of 16 stage over two weeks ago and there has not yet been any update which has led Madrid to think an exit is the likely outcome.
Red Devils stall over £25m swoop
United are believed to be concerned that Eduardo Camavinga would prefer a move to Spain than the Premier League as they look to persuade the wonderkid midfielder to join the Red Devils.
Rennes teenager Camavinga is being linked with a shock exit from the Ligue 1 side this summer, who are believed to be looking to cash in one of the best talents they have ever produced.
However, with just one year left to run on his contract, the versatile midfielder is set to be sold for just £25m, a relative bargain given his huge potential.
As keen admirers, United and Chelsea have both been tipped to make a move for Camavinga.
But according to The Telegraph, Old Trafford bigwigs are aware that he would prefer to join a La Liga side instead.
That puts Real Madrid and Barcelona in pole position, but both sides are struggling financially, and need to keep their wage bill as low as possible.
PSG are also keeping a close eye on developments regarding Camavinga, and don't appear to have any financial troubles to worry about given their recent acquisition of Sergio Ramos.
