According to Marca, it appears that the sons of Iker Casillas and Sara Carbonero have concluded their time in the Real Madrid youth academy. Out of anger, the former Spain goalkeeper decided to remove Martín and Lucas, both of whom play as goalkeepers like himself, from "La Fábrica" after 2 years at the Madrid club.

This surprising decision stemmed from the elder son, Martín, losing his starting position, and 1 of the brothers not being selected for the squad traveling to Orlando for the "Future" tournament. These events prompted Iker Casillas to take this step, of which the club has been informed.
Marca reports that 12-year-old Martín and 10-year-old Lucas will leave Real Madrid to join Leganés, seeking a youth development program more suitable for their growth.
The brothers initially started at Pozuelo club before spending 2 years in the Real Madrid academy. The decision to leave was made with their consent and after discussions with their family.
Martín had previously garnered attention while participating in the U12 World Cup, while Lucas impressed with several penalty saves against Barcelona.
