The likelihood of either player leaving is extremely low. Barrios is an indispensable player for Atlético Madrid, while Fermín López plays a key role in the Barcelona squad.
United's interest is unlikely to progress easily. Both Atlético Madrid and Barcelona regard their respective midfielders as important parts of their plans and have no intention of letting them go.
Moretto pointed out: "It would be very difficult for either of them to leave. Barrios is indispensable for Atlético Madrid, and Fermín López is also crucial for Barcelona, but Man United are looking for this type of player."
