The international match day is back, but some players left the national team due to injury. We have selected Best Injured XI, here is the full list.

Alisson

Type of injury: Calf injury

Status: The Reds' star shot-stopper is set to spend a significant amount of time on the sidelines, and will be absent for a few key clashes

Laporte

Type of injury: Cartilage injury & lateral meniscus injury

Status: Aymeric Laporte was substituted at half time of the EFL Cup final, and Guardiola initially said that the Frenchman will remain sidelined until after the international break.

Chiellini

Type of injury: ACL surgery

Status: Juventus captain Giorgio Chiellini has been diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and will require surgery. He could out for 6 months.

Shaw

Type of injury: Hamstring injury

Status: Shaw was replaced by Ashley Young in the first half of the defeat against Crystal Palace with a hamstring injury and could be out for up to a couple of weeks after the international break.

Wan-Bissaka

Type of injury: Back injury

Status: The right-back has enjoyed a fine start to the season with the Reds and was rewarded with a first senior international call-up by manager Gareth Southgate, but has been forced to withdraw from the England squad due to a back issue.

Hazard

Type of injury: Thigh injury

Status: The Belgian has missed the first three LaLiga Santander games with an injury and his absence has seen Madrid suffer and stutter to a poor start. Optimistically, it was predicted that he'd return in time to take on Villarreal.

Kante

Type of injury: Ankle injury

Status: With four years of near non-stop football, since his 2015 arrival in England and Leicester, taking their toll on the influential midfielder Lampard says the time has come, first, to give Kante 'a little bit of TLC.'

Pogba

Type of injury: Ankle injury 

Status: Pogba is another United player forced to pull out of this week's international fixtures following the ankle injury he picked up against Southampton in the last Premier League outing. The French midfielder could return on September 14.

Mbappe

Type of injury: Hamstring injury

Status: PSG star has confirmed an absence of 4 weeks depending on the evolution

Suarez

Type of injury: Calf injury

Status: The Uruguay international went off with a calf problem in Barcelona's defeat to Bilbao and is expected to be on the sidelines until the middle of September.

Messi

Type of injury: Calf injury

Status: Messi was not deemed to have recovered enough from the calf problem he picked up with Argentina during the summer to feature against Betis, but the 32-year-old is back in training.

Type of injury: Thigh injury

Status: The new No.9 did not make the matchday squad vs Southampton, however, and United will be hopeful he can be back in action soon. And the potential return date for him is September 14.

Cavani

Type of injury: The right hip injury

Ramsey

Type of injury: Hamstring injury

Status: The 28-year-old is not yet fully fit following his hamstring injury suffered in April.

Kovacic

Type of injury: Achilles injury

Status: The Chelsea midfielder has been diagnosed with inflammation of the Achilles tendon grip on his right leg, which is why he cannot compete for the upcoming games against Slovakia and Azerbaijan.

Rudiger

Type of injury: Knee injury

Status: Rudiger wasn't included in the squad for the match against Sheffield United, but should be fit enough to make his comeback after the international break vs Wolves.
