The AFA opened its online shop and it is crushing all records.
The Argentine Football Association have opened their online shop for the Chinese market and it’s broken all records, thanks to Lionel Messi. The Barcelona player’s name has helped them surpass the sales of Real Madrid and Manchester City.
The online shop opened on April 15 to sell official AFA products in China and the number of sales in three days has overtaken the monthly sales of Real Madrid and Man City in China.
Before the AFA opened, those two clubs dominated the market there - with the exception of Inter Milan who are owned by Suning, a Chinese platform.
Madrid sold 417 items in their shop to China in the last month, while Man City sold 251. The AFA sold 771 items, a record.
