Milan team manager Andrea Romeo has been given a one-match ban for using a “blasphemous expression” in the derby defeat to Inter.
The Rossoneri were beaten 1-0 in the first Derby della Madonnina of the season, thanks to Mauro Icardi’s last-gasp header.
Today the Lega Serie A has released its disciplinary report for Week 9, and Romeo has been given a one-match ban for jumping off the bench and using a “blasphemous expression”.
The team manager is essentially a liaison between the players and the club and Coach.
Lazio have been fined €2,000 after fans threw a smoke bomb, while Federico Barba of Chievo and Spal goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic have been suspended for Week 10 for their respective red cards.
