Radja Nainggolan has begun his medical tests with Cagliari and said: 'Inter didn't give me a chance.'

The Belgian is set to move to Sardinia for the third time in his career.

Inter and Cagliari have reached an agreement over the transfer of the former Roma star. Nainggolan will once again move to the Sardegna Arena on a dry loan deal until the end of the season.

Speaking to ANSA before the beginning of his medical checks with the Rossoblu at Rome’s Villa Stuart on Wednesday, Nainggolan said: “Inter didn’t give me a chance, I am happy to return to Cagliari even if it’s not official yet."

The 32-year-old played at Cagliari on loan last season, but has only played 45 minutes with Inter so far in the current campaign.

His contract with the Nerazzurri expires in June 2022.
