Napoli coach Rudi Garcia defended his players after their Champions League defeat at home to Real Madrid.
The Azzurri appeared all set for a point in their Champions League clash before an own goal was forced by the visitors as Real won 3-2.
“The performance was good, we're disappointed about the result. We played a very good game," said Garcia.
“Football is like this, you need to score goals. We need to continue playing like this. We need to grow, be more mature in certain moments, control the ball more and be more aggressive."
Napoli midfielder Matteo Politano also said: “We're disappointed. Real Madrid are great, but we played on their level.
“We started well, then we had a ten minute black out. In the second half we dominated the game, so we're very disappointed about the result."
