Neymar will be at the Mineirao stadium in Belo Horizonte on Tuesday night to see Brazil face Argentina in the Copa America semi-finals, putting him in the same place as Lionel Messi for the first time since his desire to rejoin Barcelona became public.
The 27-year-old Paris Saint-Germain forward will watch from the stands as Brazil try to make it to the Copa America final. If he goes down to the pitch before the final whistle then there could be a photo opportunity with Messi who has remained friends with Neymar since he left Barcelona in 2017.
Sources close to Neymar have claimed in recent weeks that Messi has applied pressure on Barcelona to re-sign him. Tuesday night's match (which kicks off at 1.30am UK time) could provide him with his opportunity to get a visual reminder of their closeness.
