Neymar transfer could be impacted by the injury of Cavani & Mbappe (Mirror)

PSG have suffered a double injury blow after both Mbappe and Cavani were forced off during a 4-0 win against Toulouse. The injury could well impact any prospective deal with either Barcelona or Real Madrid to sell Brazilian forward Neymar, according to Mirror.

Neymar has been linked with a move away from PSG all summer, with the 27-year-old said to be desperate to return to Spain and escape the French capital having suffered two years of injury problems and off-the-field issues.

Up until now PSG had appeared to be open to selling Neymar if they received the right offer, but this may now change if it materialises that Cavani and Mbappe are ruled out for a significant amount of time, especially with the European transfer window shutting in just eight days.

While they can call on former Stoke striker Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting, who scored twice against Toulouse, Neymar is surely the only available option who can truly replace such world-class talent.

The Brazilian has yet to play a game this season, and the club's supporters made their feelings about him known during their first game against Nimes when they sang offensive songs and held up an X-rated banner urging Neymar to 'go away'.
