Norway announced its starting lineup for the final FIFA World Cup group stage match against France. With qualification already secured, Norway head coach Ståle Solbakken rotated 10 players, including benching stars Haaland and Ødegaard.

According to Opta statistics, Norway has now joined Belgium and Brazil for the joint second-highest number of player rotations in a single World Cup match. Belgium rotated 10 players against Japan in the 2018 FIFA World Cup, and Brazil rotated 10 players against South Korea in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. This record is only surpassed by Spain's 11-player rotation against Saudi Arabia in the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
