Atletico Madrid have announced the signing of left-back Renan Lodi from Athletico Paranaense.
The Brazilian has signed a six-year deal with Los Rojiblancos and has already joined up with his new teammates in Los Angeles de San Rafael.
Lodi will start training with Diego Simeone and the Atletico squad on Monday.
"I would say I define myself as an athlete," the player said.
"I defend well and I attack very well."
The young full-back comes from Brazilian outfit Athletico Paranaense, with 49 appearances to his name, having scored four times and getting eight assists.
