Dean Huijsen will miss the Spain squad's 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Georgia in Elche and Bulgaria in Valladolid due to injury.
The Real Madrid defender arrived at the Spain training camp on Monday night with signs of muscle fatigue. On Tuesday he did not train and his club was informed that his progress was not positive, so on Wednesday morning he underwent a medical test confirming a muscle injury, of which Real Madrid has already been informed, so he has been withdrawn from the squad, wishing him a speedy recovery.
Dean Huijsen will be replaced by Athletic Club's Aymeric Laporte.
