Barcelona have officially announced that forward Raphinha has signed a contract extension with the club, keeping him at the Camp Nou until June 30, 2028.

“FC Barcelona and Raphinha have reached an agreement to extend the Brazilian forward’s contract until June 30, 2028. The new deal was signed on Thursday at the club’s offices, with president Joan Laporta, first vice-president Rafa Yuste, and sporting director Deco in attendance.
Raphinha joined Barça in July 2022 with the ambition of becoming a key figure on the left wing. Wearing the No. 22 shirt, he quickly made an impact, helping the team win the league title in his debut season, scoring 10 goals and providing 12 assists.
In the 2023/24 season, he maintained that level with 10 goals and 13 assists across all competitions. In 2024/25, his form exploded — doubling his previous bests, with 34 goals and 25 assists in 56 appearances, becoming one of the most productive forwards globally.
Under new head coach Hansi Flick, Raphinha has taken on even more responsibility. As one of the team’s captains, he formed a dynamic attacking trio alongside Robert Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal — with Ferran Torres occasionally joining. Raphinha has become Flick’s most frequently used player.
This season has marked the rise and consolidation of a player fully committed to defending Barça’s colors. His talent, football intelligence, work ethic, and high standards have earned him a long-term place at the club.
